What is my IPv6 address?
See the public IP addresses your browser uses to reach the internet. The check starts automatically; no account or installation is needed.

Your public IPv4 address
Waiting for the IPv4 check.
What does this address tell me?
A detected IPv6 address means your browser reached an IPv6-only address service. It does not prove that every IPv6 website works. The full connectivity test also checks dual stack, response times and large packets.
Why is my IPv6 address not detected?
Your ISP, router, mobile network or VPN may not provide IPv6. A firewall, browser extension or temporarily unavailable address service can also prevent detection. Retry after changing networks, then use the full test to investigate. An address lookup failure alone cannot confirm that IPv6 is disabled.
Is this my device’s local address?
This is the address visible to the external service from this browser connection. With a VPN or proxy, it may be the service’s exit address. Your device may have other local or temporary IPv6 addresses, and the public address can change over time.
How is my IP checked?
Your browser contacts external IPv4-only and IPv6-only address services from ip.sb, ipify and icanhazip. Those services see your source IP. This tool does not put the detected address in the page URL or analytics events. See our privacy policy.
