# Domain IPv6 checker

Canonical page: https://test-ipv6.run/domain-checker

Enter a domain to see whether it is reachable over IPv4 and IPv6. The checker looks up the domain's A records (IPv4) and AAAA records (IPv6) using DNS-over-HTTPS from the visitor's browser, lists the addresses it finds, and measures response times through a proxy.

## Reading the result
- **A records but no AAAA records**: the site is IPv4-only. IPv6-only clients reach it only through NAT64.
- **AAAA records present**: the site publishes IPv6. A slow or failed IPv6 connectivity check with AAAA records present usually means the server or CDN does not actually answer on that address.
- The checker reports DNS and reachability; it does not audit a site's TLS, content or every subdomain.
